Mandy Mandelstein is a filmmaker, experience designer, and media artist that started in the film world, but found herself constantly tinkering with technology to make entertainment and storytelling experiences. She's fascinated in exploring how we relate to each other as humans, and how technology changes and shapes that experience.
Mandy is a big believer in the potential for interactive technologies to change the way we tell stories and experience the world. Her personal and company work has been showcased in galleries and museums across the US, and around the world.

The creative tools that storytellers have used over the course of the last couple hundred years rely heavily on the common expected experience of a particular medium. Big shifts in the way we tell stories have always been influenced by changes in available technology, from stage to movie theaters, to our living rooms. What can we learn from the experience design of past storytelling mediums, as we experiment in new fields with new technologies, and guide audiences into new storytelling formats weather they exist in the interactive, physical, digital or virtual worlds?
